Honoring National Donate Life Month at Roxborough Memorial Hospital Roxborough Memorial Hospital marked National Donate Life Month with a flag‑raising ceremony to honor organ, eye, and tissue donors and their families. Hospital leaders and staff gathered as the Donate Life flag was raised in recognition of the lives saved through donation. Shawn Parekh, CEO of Roxborough Memorial Hospital, shared that the month is a reminder of the compassion and lasting impact donors and their families make. Guest speaker Sally spoke about her son Christopher, a registered organ donor whose wishes were honored after his passing at age 36. Through organ and tissue donation and medical research, his decision helped save and improve many lives, with the potential to touch more than fifty people. Tameka Childs‑Wolfe of the Gift of Life Donor Program highlighted the importance of awareness and honoring donor wishes so patients can receive lifesaving care.
