Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care

Stars. * One for now.. I went to this Breeze urgent care last Thursday morning and started out with a swollen area right under my nose. I went to the urgent care Breeze and saw Ashley. I have had good experiences with them before. This was a true emergency. The long story shortened is she refused to give me antibiotics after I had already left, my question is what would it have hurt? Because, I wasn't able to get a hold of my rheumatologist he said to get antibiotics from urgent care. Since Thursday I've been on extremely high powerful doses and shots of antibiotics.. this doctor who didn't want to be told to give antibiotics could have killed me. I am not joking, kidding or exaggerating one bit. I went from a small lip swelling to the whole side of my face in less than 24 hours. I had to go to the ER where yes they took care of me. I am so upset right now that I may never go back to Breeze urgent Care team just because someone didn't "think" I needed antibiotics... And I absolutely DID NEED THEM. THANK GOD FOR TRUE DOCTORS WHO CARE. My doctor is flabbergasted that she wouldn't call any in for me. This is why we have urgent care to see people when you have a gap between days. I'll keep this posted until I'm not upset and not feeling like I was ignored.
